Homey Christmas

After four Christmases away from home, I was home on the most wonderful time of the year. Even though I was only home from December 25-29 (yes, I'll be working on New Year) , I still count it as blessing to have spent Christmas with loved ones. It was even made more special and merry because we now have 3 kids in the family!

Crashed.

I haven't felt like this in such a long long time. Probably that's why I'm having such a hard time dealing with it. My emotions are in turmoil and I can't even begin to describe how I feel these days.

Butterflies in my stomach. Daydreaming. Smiling like crazy for no reason at all. Heart beats fast and then stops at the same time. I was in for a major roller coaster ride. But it was not meant to be.

Just like that, I crashed. Even before I could take off.

Why did you have to come and make life so complicated?

Goodbye Einstein.

You have been such a loyal and good friend. You've been there during the happiest and lowest times of my life. One of the best friends I ever had, you will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the 9 great years of friendship, loyalty and steadfast love. I will miss you, Einstein.♥

Summer Kickoff

I have fallen in love with summer! ♥

While the entire country was anticipating Pacquiao's bout with Clottey, we were on our way to what Au called the Camotes "hangover" (though I don't have the faintest idea why she used that word). So off we went, 30-45 minutes bus ride from the city to Danao, 2 hours travel by sea from Danao to Consuelo port, then 15-20 minutes land travel from the port to the resort. It wasn't so bad, considering the travel durations of my previous trips to Malapascua, Bantayan and Sumilon.

I wasn't really expecting too much from Camotes. I thought, it's just a nice strip of white sand beach. Sus, perte man diay kanindot sa Santiago Bay! The never-ending shoreline, the crystal clear water, the pristine white sand beach - it definitely exceeded my expectations! Talk about a wonderful surprise!

Hi Bloggie! :-)

I've missed you. It's been sooo long since I wrote you a pretty decent entry. I missed posting my musings here. Talk about my new year's resolution of writing blog entries more often. Just been really swamped with work lately. And you know me, I have major issues with time management. Met a new confidant by the way. You know Twitter right? Well, we got introduced summer of last year but only have come to really well-acquainted in August. Did I mention I was super-duper busy, so since I did not have time to confide in you the goings-on in my messy life, I got to know Twitter better, and boy, that bird makes a good sounding board. He also had a lot of celebrity friends, so there! :-) Always on the go, he became a constant companion, absorbing all my frustrations and he lets me rant and rave all I want, though at only 140 characters at a time. But of course, you are still the best! I just feel you don't deserve to be updated with only a few sentences, hence Twitter. :)

Anyhow, I will have more time for you now although Twitter would still be there. I shall try to keep my word of keeping in touch with you at least once a month. This shouldn't be too hard now that I'm in a new LOB. My new boss isn't that demanding, though we still have to be always on our toes. I have a new team, by the way - and they are one of the reason work is not so stressful these days. Doesn't feel like work at all when you are with people that inspire you and you are having so much fun!
